Behemoth are suckers for throwing fruit into beer, and this series is their way of shining a big, juicy spotlight on one fruit at a time, then wrapping it all up in a mouth-puckering tart Sour Ale. For the fifth instalment, they're coming in hot with the ultimate summer icon: watermelon. REAL watermelon. No flavouring fakery, no shortcuts, no "natural essence of watermelon-ish" nonsense. At a perfectly sessionable strength, Porch Pounder brings the hoppy goods without knocking you off your rocking chair. Aromatic, citrus'y and flavourful, it's the ultimate sidekick to a plate of hot fried chicken-with just enough bitterness to cut through the grease and enough malt to cool the heat. It's a match made in mouth-watering heaven.

Notorious busts out an East Coast style with Nectaron additions Boneface can only decribe as off da hook. Passionfruit and stonefruit step. Luscious but not too sweet. Knockin' boots with the soft and pillowy mouthfeel. Tight.

The 411 on Ruthless is Riwaka in Extremis. A dose of grapefruit and lime they'd conservatively describe as hella with dank overtones. The look is pure gold with a tight'n'white head. Unafraid of it's own bitterness. No diggity. Or certainly very little.

Brewed in honour of American bootleggers from the Prohibition days, this APA is loaded with malt characters, citrus notes, all-American aroma hops and a crisp bitter finish. Enjoy it before someone makes fun illegal again.
